I do feel bad when I have to reject an outing because of studies committment. I just have got lots of tutorials to catch up after that long series of tests.
finally my series of tests is over.
the next one will be next month.
many statistics are frightening.
HCI test mean score is 14.5 out of 42.
Network test mean score is 15 out of 40.

Just got back a test result. Although I failed in this test, amazingly, I am ranked 61 out of 190 students so as to say the bell curve is incredible. Only 25 out of the 190 students passed. erm... I didn't fail that bad after all :-0
Did a favour for a stranger few days ago and that stranger wrote an entry on my guestbook :)
Nothing really big fuck doing the favour and really it's just a small small favour.
Great that his wish came true.
My mind is getting a bit crazy. Thinking of going to school later in the night and stay there to study for my networks test till tomorrow morning. I do not have much time left. Brain is telling me not to be crazy but then my mind is telling me to go. Got to control myself.
My stomach keeps giving out strange sounds as if it needed food even after I had my lunch. Something is very weird.
Met with an old poly friend just now in Science library. She used to call me "xiao ming" during my poly this topic is again brought up today. Now my friends, regine and wenkang, both are beginning to use this nickname on me (esp the regine). haiz.... Always making fun of me with that nickname. Hope it's only for today.
I am beginning to love coffee. Been drinking cups of coffee everyday.
Added a profile section on my blog yesterday (i think so if I could remember correctly). My memory is getting very poor every single second.
Ya, before I forgot, HAPPY belated VALENTINE'S DAY to all lovebirds.
Just woke up from my 11 hours of sleep and am still feeling drowsy and sleepy. Last night, I went to bed at around 9+ and before that, I set my alarm clock to ring at 10 (the same night). I couldn't remember the alarm rang and I must have disabled it last night somehow. It has been many nights of 3-4 hrs of sleep per night and last night's 11 hrs of sleep seemed like a luxury to me.
I am online right now so is my friend. We made a challenge and that is not to be the first to go offline and surrender to the Zzzz.. monster. We have got lots of stuff yet to read, lots of stuff yet to be done!

LET'S MOTIVATE EACH OTHER! Let today be a victory!
I just loaned a logitech web cam from school. Tried it and had some fun with it with a friend over MSN. Also tried using it to take some photo with my brother and mother and they looked rather good. Had it caught some "video" of my mom doing all sorts of funny actions. I guess I will play it whenever I am stressful. It really makes me laughs like ....

Will bring it to school on Fri to take some video/photo of my friends. Should be fun.
A friend of mine is flying to Australia for further studies.
Good luck to him.
Sometimes I do feel rather bad when my friends were having problems in doing their Data Structures and Algorithms Java labs. My knowledge in Java is rather limited and definitely my limited skill will not allow me to understand Java linked lists. I got to live with this.
Finally yesterday was the end of my linux course. 3 days in total I should say I learnt nothing from them for all were quite basic. Because of this course, I have been sleeping late to compensate the amount of time I have wasted. There's going to have another test for me next week and I better ought to score for that or else I will have to end up taking for the second test.
I am here trying to prove 1<0 using poor logic in the middle of the night. I've got a quiz tomorrow.
Before I go for bed, I better end my day with some links that will convince myself how important discrete mathematics is that important to computer science.

In Chapter 5 of sigcse site, Discrete Structures is the number 1 topic to be covered under "CS Body of Knowledge". I cannot believe my eyes that among the many topics, Discrete Structures turns out to have the highest desired allocated time for it.
I have got 2 friends who will be going to australia for studies this month. One will be leaving on 10th and the other one will be leaving on 15th. The first guy will graduate with a degree in biotech in a years' time and the latter one will be graduating in ard 1-1.5 yrs. So this means I will still be studying after they have got their degrees. That's the good thing with going overseas study.

haiz... Got to sleep now. It's very very late and Discrete Mathematics is killing much of my brain cells.
It seems like all of my friends are very busy with their studies (so am I). I cannot remember that happening to me last semester at this early phase. Taking 6 modules is killing me. To make things worse, I have been taking up short courses this semester and it really take up quite a lot of my free time.

All the best to everyone and myself.
