Facebook launched updates to games

In response to Google+ launch on games, Facebook timed its announcement on its updates to games on its blog post, taking some wind away from Google+.

On Facebook blog post, it announced 3 updates namely:

1. A new game ticker

Show what your friends are playing, their latest scores and achievements. According to Facebook, you can customize what to display on your ticker and what not to show on your friends' tickers.
You can now control who can see these stories for each individual app in your Settings. If you want friends to see you're playing one game but not another, you can change that. You're also able to limit visibility directly from the ticker by clicking "X" on a story to remove it.
2. More room to play

Certain games are to have full screen feature such as CityVille, Zoo World, Monster World, and Mystery Manor in the coming days.

3. Bookmark your Favorites

You can now keep the best ones at the top of your bookmarks on your homepage.

Despite all these efforts, the comments on the blog post seems to be gathering mainly negative comments.
