Microsoft offers alternatives against Google privacy concerns

Come Mar 1, 2012, Google will be unifying its current more than 70 privacy policies into one single privacy policy. This has prompted many including the European Union opposing against this move. Google's stand is to simplify the more than 60 different set of privacy policies, unifying them into one so it is easier to understand for users.

Taking momentum of public unhappiness against Google's move, Microsoft came out with a 'Putting people first' campaign, offering alternatives and telling public users Microsoft is treating customers better than Google.
