A statue belonging to Bernard Madoff was stolen and am now being returned but with a note attached to it. Bernard Madoff, a former chairman of the Nasdaq Stock Market, was arrested and charged on 11 Dec 2008 with allegedly running a US$50 billion "Ponzi scheme".
The note reads:
"Bernie the Swindler, Lesson: Return stolen property to rightful owners. Signed by The Educators"
