Come 30 June 2008, Microsoft will stop selling Windows XP despite several calls and petitions against this decision. Their move is to "force" the switch from XP to Vista. However, Microsoft will still allow smaller PC shops to buy XP for resale through the end of January. A version of XP will also remain available for ultra-low-cost PCs such as the Asus Eee PC.
If you are not happy with this decision, you can voice it out by joining a protest setup by InfoWorld. This could be your last chance.

Anyway, I doubt the online petition is going to have any much impact on Microsoft's decision.
