Interesting Facts
1. Bill Gates earns US$250 every SECOND, that's about
US$20 Million a DAY
and US$7.8 Billion a YEAR!
2. If he drops a thousand dollar, he won't even bother
to pick it up bcoz
in the 4 seconds he picks it, he would've already earned it back.
3. The US national debt is about 5.62 trillion, if Bill
Gates were to pay the debt by himself; he will finish it in less then 10
years. ??????
4. He can donate US$15 to everyone on earth but still
be left with US$5
Million for his pocket money.
5. Michael Jordan is the highest paid athlete in US. If
he doesn't drink
and eat, and keeps up his annual income i.e. US$30
Million, he'll have to
wait for 277 years to become as rich as Bill Gates is now.
6. If Bill Gates was a country, he would be the 37th
richest country on
earth.
7. If you change all of Bill Gate's money to US$1
notes, you can make a
road from the earth to moon, 14 times back and forth.
But you have to make
that road non-stop for 1,400 years, and use a total of
713 BOEING 747 planes to transport all the money.
8. Bill Gates is 40 this year. If we assume that he
will live for another
35 years, he has to spend US$6.78 Million per day to
finish all his money
before he goes to heaven.
Last but not the least:
HERE'S THE BEST...!!!
IF MICROSOFT WINDOWS' USERS CAN CLAIM US$1 FOR EVERY
TIME THEIR COMPUTERS
HANG BECAUSE OF MICROSOFT WINDOWS, BILL GATES WILL BE
BANKRUPT IN 3 YEARS...!!!!

Oracle is Rich
Can't believe Lawerence Ellison is so rich. Oracle? They make a database, don't they? It's not even a particulaly good one, and it's hard to imagine that enough people have purchased it to put $36 billion into *anybody's* hands. Microsoft??? At least most of the people I know of spend hours using M$ products and that sounds reasonable Gates and Allan are so rich.

Coincidence or Jinx
While watching the "Turn Left Turn Right" movie, I was thinking what had happened in my life that are of many coincidences. I do have some. I will name 1. I knew a girl (friend) whom I knew in NUS, lives few blocks away from me. We went to the same block but different class for tution in primary school. And now we met in NUS. Near her block used to have a tragedy (someone jumped off the building). Near my block also used to have a tragedy (fire). So the entire movie my mind was running through the fire incident, what happened, the aftermath, ....
Back home and was told by my family members that there was a fire in the very night I had my movie. Concidence or jinx?

Ugly Singaporean
Was queuing up for food today at Ang Mo Kio S11 Central. Suddenly 2 aunties came and cut the queue. They requested for 2 packet of rice but the vendor ignored them and politely asked them to follow the queue. Not only did the aunties not feeling guilty at all, they even cursed the vendor. I was rather irritated by their curse. STARE THEM like goldfish.

Hail Seif Haridi Once More
Today's announcement
"on Saturday from 10:00-13:00 I will be in PCLAB2 soc1 8th fl. to help you with assignment 1"
He is just too good. I bet he will be spending most of the 3hrs coding for those in trouble. Thank god I found myself a more than capable partner to work with. Our working rate is 1 function/functionality per day. That is lightning speed.
I like Haridi (role model).

Hail Haridi
Prof Haridi, my lecturer for Programming Language Concepts module is certainly going to be one of the nominees of Best Lecturer in NUS award. Ever seem any lecturers (I am excluding those from primary and secondary levels) staying back voluntarily solving students' doubts? Do not forget that time was late 6pm already (Tutorial ends at 5pm). His devotion is even more evident in the forums he created. Every single thread posted he will sure to reply.
Hard to find such a devoted lecturer in a University.
