Google+ has a new interface - completely new. With the new interface, it is now possible to customize the shortcut icons in the new left vertical navigation bar. On the right side, it is now spotting a significant whitespace, occupying half of the screen, especially if you are on at least 21 inch monitor. You may wish to follow #whitespace hashtag on Google+ on suggestions on how to best utilize the whitespace (just for entertainment).
The new interface has a vertical navigation bar that lets you reorder and hide apps. When you mouse over an app, Google+ shows a list of quick actions. This change will make it easier to add third-party apps in the future.
