The Toughbook 52 is built to withstand wear and tear, due to its magnesium alloy construction and a shock-mounted screen. It's certified to the MIL-STD-810F military standard, tested to withstand drops of up to 2.5 feet on all six sides. The hard drive, easily removable, can survive a drop of 3 feet.
