It is the same old story and I am sort of anticipate such move. Every August, we see local transport operators submitting applications for fare adjustments. When you see the word adjustments, it can only mean UP and not down. These going for-profit so-called public transport operators listed on stock market are answerable to shareholders and their yearly exercise does not seem to care much on the pockets of the citizens.
No wonder transport component is usually one of the main contributing factor to the now every high Consumer Price Index (CPI).
