A total of 244 companies were honoured for their outstanding contributions to Total Defence at the Total Defence Awards Presentation Ceremony 2008 at the Pan Pacific Hotel this evening.

Many of the winners are more or less expected e.g. Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Defence Science & Technology Agency, DSO National Laboratories, Keppel Corp, SembCorp, NCS Communications Engineering Pte Ltd, Singapore Airlines, Singapore Computer Systems Limited, ST Engineering (various arms and divisions), many other government bodies and ministries.
