Most Singaporeans know what the 4 Cs stand for - cash, car, condominium and credit card.
But Singapore's Education Minister Ng Eng Hen has redefined the 4Cs for the younger generation at this year's Pre-University (Pre-U) Seminar.
Like preparing for a field camp, Dr Ng said every generation needs a backpack loaded to cope with what's ahead.
At the seminar, the minister told participants that he hopes they will carry in their backpacks through life the 4Cs - which are confidence, compassion, ability to compartmentalise, and good company.
