General Motors (GM) has approached the U.S. Federal Reserve for cash injection so that its business can continue operation. Many including new President-elect Barack Obama see this bailout necessary to avoid job losses and fall of manufacturing sector.
However, Ludwig von Mises Institute has a different point of view regarding whether to bailout GM. In summary, an article published by them says the bailout should not proceed and GM should file for bankruptcy.
