The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) has detected Pandemic A/H1N1 2009 in samples from pigs imported from the farm on Pulau Bulan. However, AVA assured the public that pork in Singapore is safe for consumption since H1N1 virus is not transmitted through the consumption of pork and pork products.
