Redeem your Borders gift cards for flights to Europe

German Airline Lufthansa has extended a helping hand to shoppers left in limbo over the unused value in their Borders gift cards, and will allow card holders to redeem their gift cards for flights to Europe on the airline from Singapore.

For instance, a customer with S$100 on his gift card can offset a S$999 air ticket with the value, and pay S$899. The airline would accept the gift cards at its office at 390 Orchard Road until September 2. The Borders at Wheelock Place has since closed.

In the meantime, Borders Singapore is holding a Borderless clearance sale at Prologue, ION Orchard, from 26 Aug to 11 Sep.
