Microsoft just released the beta version of Windows Live Essentials, a suite of free desktop applications including Windows Live Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Mail, and several more useful apps you may just want to download.
The number of free applications look abundant but too bad I only use Messenger from their list. I have since moved to Google's services.
